Bijenproject 🐝

Het doel van dit project is enerzijds bij te dragen tot de bescherming van het milieu en anderzijds onze leerlingen dichter bij de natuur te brengen. De kennis over deze nijvere honingproducenten, hun voordelen voor de mens en vele andere wezens, hun sociale gedrag enz. moet aan onze leerlingen worden overgebracht tijdens lessen en beschermde (imkerpak) bezoeken aan de bijenkorf. Indien mogelijk moeten de leerlingen de imker helpen bij het extraheren van de honing. Dit als beloning voor maandenlang zorgen voor 'onze schoolbijen'.

The aim of this project is on the one hand to contribute to environmental protection and on the other hand to bring our pupils closer into contact with nature. The knowledge about these industrious honey producers, their benefits for humans and many other creatures, their social behaviour etc. is to be imparted to our pupils in lessons and protected (beekeeper suit) visits to the beehive. If possible, the pupils should help the beekeeper to extract the honey. This as a reward for months of looking after and caring for ‘our school bees’.
